still one of the most unreal performances ever captured on film imo

helping out on a j thing & it’s interesting to realize that the authority figures in his life could have more easily railroaded this kid if they’d just had the foresight not to criminally charge him.
the charges are truly bullshit, and the fact that he happened to get appointed a very good public defender is looking quite likely to derail the whole sloppy thing they’ve got set up against him.
actually upgrading my opinion to “just said, out loud, ‘this is fucking great’”

took some cold medicine to sleep last night because I kept sneezing - that stuff remains one of the weirdest drugs to me. had stress dreams about working a job that was a combination of working at the library, doing journalism, & doing investigation / records request tasks – and not doing any of it well enough.
it’s really just a terrible idea to exaggerate on this particular terrain! if people are posting swastikas, pro-Hitler shit, or avowing national socialism, then definitely call them nazis! it’s always a gift to opponents on the far-right who love to claim “you just call anyone you don’t like a fascist” when you exaggerate on this topic. also IMO it can be useful to think of certain terms with increasing specificity like: #fascists > #whitenationalists > #nazis all very very worth opposing! but don’t exaggerate / lie.

there’s a multiverse timeline fork wherein the #ProudBoys, #Threepercenters, & other assorted #january6 putschers successfully merked #pence - & I gotta say, I’m not sure it’s a worse one
was instance browsing and someone calling Clarence Thomas
actual full-throated cheerleader of neo-Nazism
the dude truly sucks, but that’s absolutely not true. i don’t understand why it isn’t bad enough that he’s an important party to a movement that attracts nazis like flies to shit & provides them spaces to network as a side effect of their main efforts. spell it out like that—sounds pretty morally reprehensible to me!
