The Italian Renaissance style former Wylie Department Store on Buchanan Street in Glasgow. Built in 1889, it was designed by John Hutchison, with details drawn by his assistants Andrew Black and Charles Rennie MacKintosh. MacKintosh may have been responsible for some of the ornate internal plaster column capitals on the ground and first floors. These were still present until at least 2012, and may still be in place.

This is what happens when faux controversies and concocted bogeymen become entrenched in the mainstream media’s consensus narrative: Even judges who are supposed to only consider evidence in the context of their court proceedings can let these narratives influence, if not dictate, their legal judgment and jurisprudence.

As Wheeler notes, a proper comparison “would make it clear that Federal authorities treated Trump’s supporters far too lightly, not the opposite.” This is similar to what we saw throughout the five years of Proud Boys protests in Portland with local authorities as well a federal ones.

I bet this guy isn’t nearly so credulous & lenient to a lot of other types of defendants. Interesting how gently he treats violent Nazis.
