I've just been told that "our customers like the AI chat bot" I suggested that was "unlikely" [or words to that effect]. So
@Extelec Hard neither. I'm using the web because I don't want to talk / chat with anyone. The site should let solve my problem without a dang conversation.
@trevorflowers A VERY good point, and, yes, I did try first, including their AI text chat bot, that told me to use an option that doesn't exist.

@Extelec so hear me out... I like AI if they get a problem solved quicker. Done properly, I can speak to them and get the solution I need with no wait time. However, when they become a barrier between me and a solution then I find them infuriating. But let face it, most call centres are just following a script with no room for using a human brain anyway!
@andy_warb My problem is, I only ask for help when my problem probably can't be solved by autocorrect.
