@rainyday @thunderbird no. Servers will be in the EU. Likely Germany to start. Not sure what other EU countries we will host in. Will post more on this soon.

@thunderbird with a feature like calendar being part of the suite will calendar be coming to Thunderbird on Android?

@paulhullford Thanks for asking! These are two separate products, and right now, there's no timeline for a built-in calendar on the Android app. But a good way to show support is upvoting suggestions like this on Mozilla Connect: https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/calendar-support-on-thunderbird-mobile/idi-p/76394

@thunderbird I love Thunderbird, and I would gladly pay for an email service plus calendar directly from Thunderbird. My questions are, will the calendar eventually be integrated with Thunderbird Android? Will it be a standalone app? Will it support CalDAV, so I can use it with Appointment or Tasks.org?

@CyborgZeta We're so glad to hear that! We'll have posts out soon with more details on the different products, what will be in them, and how they'll work with the mobile apps. We'll share links to them here as they're posted.
