It’s a protracted e-bike commercial, sure, but it’s also a Danny MacAskill video, and it’s really pretty.
But it’s sort of incredible how normal an entire film studio in three backpacks is now, how a three thousand dollar drone can get you shots that any twentieth century filmmaker would have cut off an arm for.

@mhoye i have an #ebike with #bosch controller/battery, it's a closed walled garden, the charger has an incredibly weird connector, and the controller itself doesn't work with anything else but their own app. luckily i found a small spanish boutique shop that sells a mitm device for their controller (i suspect it's just an esp32) that broadcasts all telemetry on common protocols/uuids that the rest of the app/devices supports.
my advice stay away from bosch stuff on ebikes, #proprietary shit.
@mhoye and when i say weird connector, i mean this:
#bosch #proprietary #ebike #vendorlockin
usb pd should be mandatory for these as well! damnit.

Bosch ebike plugs. On a par and maybe surpassing Sony In Their Prime as far as actively hostile to interoperability is concerned. Look at this nonsense.
@mhoye their controller is also a #proprietary closed system, refusing to work with other apps or devices, which brings me to these awesome people, who built a #mitm device that serves all the data on common protocols/endpoints: https://bulcan.bike/en/
