And another discussion of them where they are always having to take into account the 1752 Conversion.

The only time I have ever heard that level of detailed time rules and processes was deep in an incident response event when we had 30 days of logs in local time, across 7 time zones, that also covered a switch to daylight savings for 3 of them, and switch from daylight savings for 1 of them.
An entire day just trying to get everything in true time before we even started parsing a file.
