May I just say that I strongly dislike systemd-resolved.

I am not even a big systemd hater or anything but so many issues would not be issues for me if systemd-resolved wasn't on so many Linux distros by default

@chillybot it all seems so dumb. stuff used to just be 'a text file'. now its a giant convoluded mess with binary logs and agents. ugh.

I am sure it is beautiful in it's own way and I should spend more time learning to appreciate it but I'm sorry, it just doesn't do it for me

@Viss
See you have stuff like firewalld and ufw. Stuff that abstracts on top of nftables to make user experience better. That makes sense. But systemd-resolved just adds another layer to mess with stuff and an abstraction that just convolutes the setup when NetworkManager can set resolv.conf just fine if not just editing the file directly.

@Viss @chillybot How do you do split DNS without systemd-resolved though? I guess it's possible, but I never figured out how...
