@buherator I needed it to compile LLVM, and haven't disabled it since...
@buherator NetBSD here though... I only do not configure it on SD card! :)
Kernel core dumps are written to the swap so it's very useful in such cases.
@buherator ce complique. if i need/want to hibernate i have to, if there is only little ram available (cheap vps's?) i might want to for some rare cases when i need more and don't care about speed. but definitely not on monster hw like my daily work server.
@buherator I only use it in case of special needs e.g. hibernation.
