What is your favorite pdf hack (not file-format based):
Change text?
Remove watermark?
Remove ads pictures on documents to print?

@Ange Apparently removing restrictions on a PDF file (copy / print / view / modify) are all just flags that can be turned off. But Adobe will get “big mad” if you make a utility that does this.

Not encryption, obviously, but everything else.

@Ange you know when some smart bureaucrat draws black rectangles over paragraphs then someone on the Internet does a Ctrl+A Ctrl+C Ctrl+V and publishes the whole text layer

@Ange , by my side definitely something not so impressive.. but for my personal work I found that when I save a document from word directly in pdf, it opens instantly after with the publish option and I digitally sign the sheet.

I always search for the shortest possible path from point A to point B partially from laziness, partially bc of curiosity.

(not as my colleagues, some of them confused passing through print option, saving it separately and signing after which is definitely 1 step more)

@sid77 @Ange I use pdftk and/or qpdf to do this.
