Any recommendations for analog #electronics time-domain simulation software for hobbyists? GUI is a must, support for tubes is a major plus. Primary use-case would be low-frequency signal generation circuits.

@buherator If you are a complete beginner there will be a very steep learning curve. #LTSpice is very powerful, but is not easy to learn without an explicit tutorial due to the UI controls being very custom and very hard to 'discover.'

I've not used falstad simulator much, but even if it is easier to draw the circuits, your learning curve will depend heavily on where you are with electronics and #electronics theory.

@poleguy I think I have reasonable background for this basic level, at least I know where/how to look for answers. Falstad seems to strike just the right balance, question is if I'll get to a point where I'd have to recognize simulation errors as I'm not confident I could do that.

@buherator I don't think you'll run into that problem for analog tube simulations. The odds are always against the first thing you worry about being the problem actually being a real problem you hit. :-)
