@cR0w spotted a gentleman in Costa Mesa yesterday who was wearing a utility kilt. yes, i am kilt-curious.
@h2onolan Kilts are great. And people don't change the name because they're worried about image or something.
@cR0w @h2onolan i would only propose the caveat that the ponto short/jogger stuff from vuori is hands down the most comfy thing ive ever owned. ive become a full bedroom sith at this point - vuori everything underneath, majestic robes black on black robe, olukai slippers.
it feels like a cheatcode for having not actually gotten out of bed :D
@h2onolan @cR0w i actually own a dress. just one, i bought it for a rocky horror picture show party. ive worn it twice? I didnt have to get into or out of a car, or spend a lot of time sitting down and standing up so im not sure how they fare, but honestly after discovering vuori, ive entrenched myself :D
@0x00string ass purse > belt bag > pistol pouch
Pistol pouch is the cringe one that gets me.
@cR0w missed oportunity to call it "the black ops tactical man sac"
@PetterOfCats I hear people unironically call them pistol pouches because it's supposedly tougher or something.
@cR0w mine are dope tho, i got some bootleg adidas ones in some dope colors
@cR0w look fresh and when im out walkin a lot my wallet and phone dont get all fucked up from being in my pockets rattlin around
@0x00string I like them. I tried a chest rig before because it's convenient with a backpack, but everyone assumed a pistol was inside so I only use it on trail runs now.
@cR0w what, they didn't call it a tactical tushie tote? Because with the goruck and crossfit crowd everything needs to be militarised. (Unfortunately)
@Dany I really used to like GORUCK events and their gear is solid, but the crowd went from "weirdos drinking beer and carrying heavy shit around town" to Instagram Crossfitters and SOF cosplayers. I hate it and I know several of the cadre that hated it and stopped doing the events.
@0x00string I almost always use holsters, but for running, I have a chest rig that's snug and that pistol is a DA with an external safety, so I feel safe moving with it. But if I'm not bouncing, a holster is the way to go for sure.
