I just applied the latest version of Akkoma to this instance which fixes some security issues. It looks like upgrade was not clean, but it's early and I'm not able to reproduce the issue, nor see any signs that the upgrade didn't work, but if you run into a problem, please let me know.

@jerry oh you’re building from source. I use OTP builds so I didn’t have that problem.

I don’t know when was the last time you upgraded Akkoma and what OS you’re running this on, but in a previous update, they upped the required version of Elixir to 1.14. If you’re running Ubuntu, Debian, etc, you will be a few Elixir versions behind.

@clemenceau yeah, I keep it updated - I think last time was a few weeks ago and I did have to deal with the elixir version. Does OTP abstract that away?

@jerry yes, the OTP comes prepackaged with everything and you don’t need to deal with Elixir etc. There’s a doc on the website to switch:
