He and ALL the Republicans involved in his crimes must be charged, tried, and thrown in the goddamn dungeon to rot. If Republican traitors want to start a civil war over it we'll just have to win that one, too. Anything less is capitulation to terrorism and it never ends well.

We should never lose track of Donald Trump's most horrendous crime, or permit the news media to minimize it, presenting him as a legitimate candidate for re-election. People died as a direct consequence of his selfish quest to hold the presidency while overthrowing the duly-elected government of the American people. Trump recklessly stole the lives of those he was sworn to protect, and he did so with depraved indifference.

That's crazy! But it's the perfect symbol for a fighter squadron. That reminded me that I may still have something like that of my own in the garage or storage. Oh I hope I do. Weekend project! ;)

There are still many days when I wake up and there's an earworm greeting me that is singing: "Good mourning. What the fuck is this? Aaaaoooooohhhhhhhh..." /shred /shred

Same here. I love his voice. I think Megadeth's In My Darkest Hour was my go-to breakup song for years, or just anytime I wanted to hear a song where the singer sounded as tortured and miserable as I was feeling. hehe ;)

The funny part is, it’s Dave’s voice that attracts me. If you listen to the part “…killing for reli-jian. It’s something I don’t understand.” in Killing Fields, you’ll get why Megadeth fans love his voice. It’s unique, no on can pull it off. With James Hetfield, Phil Anselmo, Death Metal band vocalists and their build, it’s expected that it’s going to be brutal. Not with Megadeth.

Disclaimer: Not trying to convince you to like Megadeth :)

EDIT: Replaced Lars Ulrich with James Hetfield. Don’t know, I still relate Lars Ulrich with Metallica because of those Napster days.

Three signs it was a good class:
1. Kids don't want to leave when the timer goes off (I set a timer on my phone with a 2 min buffer).
2. Kids ask if they can keep working on their projects in quiet study (I don't assign homework).
3. Kids call you over during class - not to ask for help but to show you what they've discovered or created.
Bonus:
You overhear three kids (one boy, two girls) saying they love computer science as they're leaving the room.

It's nice when Duolingo gives me phrases that are actually relevant to my life. 👍

I'm a big fan of operatic-type Metal frontmen/bands. I discovered Savatage and Candlemass roughly around the same time, the former on the base where I received F.A.S.T. training, and the latter while attached to a unit providing counter-terrorism support for the Winter Olympics in Seoul.

The dark, epic operatic stories they told with that droning distortion felt more like liturgical music in a gothic church. Like with many ppl, music was my escape and respite, and certain songs I listened to during those situations, when listened to today, can take me right back and elicit such a visceral response with vivid memories, feelings, and thoughts contemporaneous to that time. It's a sword that cuts both ways, though.

Glad to see Candlemass' tour selling out. I wish Savatage and Candlemass still had their original frontmen, though.

I see the liberals are trying to catch nazis in logical fallacies again as some way to triumph over them. Unfortunately, while it might feel good to go "ha! they can't even define what woke actually means!" the thing is that it doesn't matter to them

The right doesn't care if it lacks definitions or if it's hypocritical or even contradictory. "Woke" is just their dog whistle for "people we want to exterminate" that they can say without being perceived as "not being rude", something the liberal establishment seems to care more about than the underlying sentiment

Saying "you can't even define woke" is about as effective as saying "the president is not named Brandon". It doesn't matter. The important thing is that "let's go Brandon" gives them social cover that "fuck the president" doesn't

Stop asking nazis to define woke and start telling them that you know they want to commit genocide and you'll fight them

Your insipid word games aren't going to beat fascism
