even now that it’s a de facto Nazi website owned by a deranged fascist illegally looting the country, they still fucking tweet more than they even use flashalerts.
They should at least be regularly using flashalerts, but even better would be the city making a dedicated mastodon server for its departments & offices. Easy, open source, has rss feeds, etc etc

bwhat I see happening is that the Trump Machine will initially waffle on the most violent aspects of their promises; some lower level MAGA fanatics, though, will step into the breach and do some pogrom style violence & murders. There will be a brief moment of bewilderment before leadership decides to own it, and then it will kick off on a much more massive scale.
