for some reason I never knew that Brigitte Bardot was such a far-right racist. I was recalling fascist Marine Le Pen appropriating the legacy of Joan of Arc, and upon googling it, found Bardot having said it in an interview - her wikipedia page is pretty wild.

His critics wonder if the demands of virality have led Dahlgren to less savory methods.

I gather that Kevin Dahlgren hasn’t always been a right wing ghoul, and I do think this brief line in the @OregonLive story is salient. The incentive structures of livestreaming, clicks, likes, & virality seem basically reactionary. Anecdotally, I’ve seen this play out time and time again over the past decade in #PDX.
