unpopular opinion:

There is too much software and it changes too often.

It's trying to figure out where they moved the fucking buttons in the cloud panel this month to perform the same task I've been doing for two years.

@wolf480pl I don't agree with the "too much software though". My unc ass still follows the unix philosophy and prefers having lots of tiny pieces of software which do one thing well.

I don't like having a single electron-monolith which does a bad job at 200 tasks instead.

Please stop writing fewer giant pieces of crap software and start writing more pieces of decent software instead.

@quad I'm not saying too many individual pieces of code, I mean the sum of the size of all code.

Like, why does every store have to have its own loyalty card mobile app. They all do the same thing.
