@kwayk42 @UncleDuke1969 we used to have this exact doorknob at work, with similar signs.
If you push it, it locks, then unlocks automatically when you turn the handle to leave the bathroom, as you’d expect.
If you instead *turn* it, it remains locked after you leave the bathroom, so nobody else can use it until someone goes “huh, they’ve been in there a while”, knocks on the door, receives no answer, and tracks down a key to unlock it from the outside.
