Spent way too long figuring out why a payload wouldn't work.
@reverseics last week i thought i would be clever and run c:\windows\system32\notepad.exe but i still got the shitty new notepad
srsly microsoft.
I'm sure most people that do windows app testing know all about this and have known all about this for a while but cripes, this seems like a change that is purposefully done to piss off security researchers, lol.
@h2onolan i don't care if it's the shitty notepad, I just want something to pop up easily so I can do a happy dance and then tell people that they have to fix it.

@h2onolan @reverseics Settings → Apps → Installed Apps → uninstall Notepad → you'll get the good Notepad back. Afterwards import this .reg file to allow associating stuff with it, too.
