local conservative tabloid guy tried to "investigate a local mosque for being overcrowded in violation of the fire code"

He did so by showing up to the mosque on Eid, trying to force his way in, and carrying a sword.

He swears up and down he wasn't going to use the sword, he just had it for some reason.

I, too, own a sword.

Do you think that I could win the rights to his tabloid in a duel of flesh and steel? I mean, I'm sure I could beat him in a fight but do you think he would have to legally hand over the reigns to me after proving I have the divine right as proven in combat?

@Dio9sys he should be forced to fight you, as a consequence of bringing a sword

@Dio9sys Please make SCOTUS settle this very necessary new legal question.

@Viss @Dio9sys At minimum there should be a presentation of abilities, Highland games style?

@jackryder @Dio9sys this is the swordplay equivalent of 'dont aim a gun at anything you dont intend to shoot', but with swords. if you bring a sword, you should be expected to know how to use it, and if you lose an ear or a finger because you dont know how to use a sword - well maybe you just shouldnt have shown up with a sword :D
