Did you know that the hardware that hosts infosec.place has worms inside of it
@LivingCooki You scared me! It's good that I have used to opening the original post.
@rolle @LivingCooki š here we go with this stuff again.
Wonder how many people will block simply based on this post.š«£
@LivingCooki If it does it would be along with loads of other instances hosted at the datacentre.
@LivingCooki well my host should've let me know, shouldn't they've.
@LivingCooki @catsalad the funny thing is that Iām so used to people being mean to my instance specifically that it didnāt occur to me that it was That trick until 3/4ths through the commentsā¦
@0xabad1dea @LivingCooki @catsalad what's the trick?
But an .horse domain with worms is a bit of a funny joke.
@emma @LivingCooki @catsalad there's a way to ask the receiving server to substitute a variable for its own name in a post. so everyone sees their own server as if it were typed in.
@0xabad1dea @emma @LivingCooki Pretty sure it doesn't work on Mastodon (so you should see it), but they used the $INSTANCE$host$ in their post.
@LivingCooki I told you that in confidence!
@LivingCooki Iāve seen photos of computers full of beans. Worms donāt shock me.
@suetanvil @LivingCooki Yeah, I loaded it with iguanas to eat them.
(That's right. He messes with all of the instances' hardware.)
@tek @suetanvil @LivingCooki and then they died and now the worms are eating them.
@szakib @suetanvil @LivingCooki Wait ātil you see what Iāve got planned for them!
