I weaseled my way into a workshop that usually my boss would go to, but he's on sabbatical.

And the first person I ran into (and didn't recognise until he told me his name) was the CTO of the whole company.

And of course, when he held an AMA after his keynote, I asked the one question my bosses boss and their boss keep sweeping under a rug whenever I bring it up.

And the CTO answered, honestly, about the state if the thing. He took my worries seriously because he was just as worried.
