real talk I basically cannot comprehend purchasing conventional synthesizer patches

They’re so fun and satisfying to make yourself - I guess if you’re trying to learn from someone else’s work it might make sense? idk

also by “conventional synthesizer patches” I mean NOT stuff like elaborate puredata assemblages, norns scripts, ORCA patches, etc - all of which are a bit of a different animal IMO

I’ll probably double back on this at some point - it seems like some of the Korg SDK libraries are a bit hard to approach initially too - I’m mostly just thinking of like seeing microfreak patches for sale etc - when it’s such a fun and approachable interface to make your own stuff with - seems hard to run out of ideas very quickly
