@buherator On my work PC, Search opens so slowly it often misses the first letter I type, so CAMI, becomes AMI, and SNAG becoimes NAG. I end up with an unusually number of Bing searches for Amish people and newsreader Naga Machetty.
The PowerTools search is better for sure, but unlearning the windows key tap at my age is a non runner.

Although it seems the tech industry wants us to use all our powerful machines as dumb terminals and have all the real work done in the so-called cloud (their computers) so they can overcharge us for it.

The only way to get windows updates to appear in the start menu is typing `upa`. I found this out by mistake once, but has stayed consistent for 2 years.

Not `upd` or even `updates`, but only `upa` works consistently.

Spoiler: Windows won't know it exists. It has only been in the OS since Win95. Yet unless you go and explicitly "Pin to Start", you will never be able to launch it from there.

I have it, I modified it as much as I can to remove junk as much as possible. But I'm always booting into a Linux distro.
I can't remember when I last logged in. I no longer need it for games, and I found workarounds "not supported for Linux" programs/devices.
Windows is on life support.

@a @buherator We can turn off web results (for now), but then you loose Wikipedia results when you look up selected text that’s not in the dictionary. 😩 (Admittedly, that’s more of an issue on iOS when every app you open (or switch to) risks purging other apps from memory.)

I assume they just slap windows on it so the computer has an OS that 95% of people just take as is, and don't have to worry about anyone accidentally buying the Linux computer because they didn't know there's non-Windows computers.
