While some of you got woken up by fireworks, our standard-issue cat Gadget decided to announce his acquisition of a dead mouse, bringing it in for all to see.

(I hadn’t mentioned Gadget’s recent lack of mice announcements because I didn’t want to taunt happy fun fate. Fat lot of good that did.)
