I did this thing, and would really appreciate any feedback, not to mention contributions!

@buherator Do I understand correctly that the idea is to provide allow lists to people, enabling more aggressive blocking?

@cR0w Yes, localized/thematic allow-lists to be specific. Similarly to some enterprise environments, only distributed and more user control over the actual blocks.

@cR0w @buherator This is cool! Please consider contributing to @ifin 's Lists project so a larger community can help support this and similar efforts.

@buherator

I wonder if you could pre-populate it with one of the top popular domain lists floating around. I think Alexa's Top 1M domains went dark a few years ago, and Cisco Umbrella's seems to be junk these days. Cloudflare (*gag*) seems to have some active lists. Might need some curation, though.

@DaveMWilburn I just pushed a sample repo with minimal similarweb data, but something like Alexa 1M would be awesome! LMK if you have a good source!

@mttaggart Does IFIN maintain allow-lists too (sorry for the stupid Q but I think I just banned myself by using NoScript on the Codeberg bot check :D)

This is, unfortunately, the best I can find these days with a quick search. Maybe others have better sources.

@buherator @ifin @cR0w This would be the first, but there's no reason not to. It's a list of permanent items that improve defense.

I added all .hu to the Hungarian list as a test, thanks!
