There’s a popular video circulating in social media allegedly from 61. Brigade of #Ukraine claiming #Starlink is “sending our coordinates to Russians”.
I became skeptical and questioned its authenticity because there’s no trace of this video on otherwise frequently updated 61. Brigade channel. Now @aryosomegumul.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy identified it as deep fake and found another similar one, likely from the same “film studio”.
These videos are usually promoted by obscure TikTok accounts with a few followers and present very controversial facts. The second one was about “forced mobilisation”. Don’t trust obscure accounts and always verify with official 🇺🇦 channels regardless of how many other people shared it on social media. The whole point of such fakes is to vet their authenticity by number of shares, where number of shares is only the function of how controversial they are 🤷
