@chx That's super interesting.. do you mean that folks just choose to skip articles with illustrations like that? or some sorta algorithmic down-voting?

On Facebook where I am only friends with a few dozen people, real life friends, I am unfriending those who post such and do not delete when asked. It's stolen art and , well , see the attached definitely not AI illustration.

About half the ppl internally feel as strongly as you do. (We will avoid it going forward).

@ThinkstCanary +1 on not using imagery generated by ‘AI’, especially not when it pictures someone whose apparent idea of safety is welding using sunglasses as protection 🤪
